Lois Ann Bertolino (1974-2022) was a longtime resident of Guemes Island (Anacortes) in Washington State. Lois was self-employed in her career of choosing for over 50 years; blending her passions for jewelry and poetry. In her workshop on Guemes Island, she handcrafted silver jewelry that featured Northwest wildlife imagery.

Lois showcased her artwork in the annual Arts and Crafts Festival in Anacortes. Lois shared her talent for poetry with the world when she wrote, "Chewing the Past - 50 Years of Poems," and dedicated it to the memory of her beloved mom, Lucille. Aside from her love of jewelry and poetry, Lois stayed busy as a volunteer for the Anacortes Community Theatre for 12 years.
