Navajo silversmith Doris Smallcanyon (b. 1949) is most known for her delicate squash blossom necklaces and her silver spiritual deity figures set with turquoise and coral: Yei to the Diné, Katsinam to Hopi Peoples. Many galleries and trading posts throughout Arizona and New Mexico feature her jewelry, and her work is in the permanent collection of the Tonoho Chul Museum in Tucson.
