The Hano Mana or Tewa Maiden Katsina, just like the Grandmother (Hahay-i wu-uti) Katsina, is a favorite for the first or second gift to the girls by the men of their villages. Tewa Maiden appears in the Bean Dance on Second Mesa and in the Water Serpent Ceremony on First Mesa. This sweet little maiden is wearing braids; usually they are shown with whorls on the sides of their head.
