Pee Michael was born in 1965 in Kimmirut (Lake Harbour), Nunavut. HIs parents, Elijah and Annie, and brothers Matto and Paulossie are also artists in Kimmirut. He has participated in many gallery and museum exhibitions throughout the United States, Canada, and France, and was featured in the book Reflections of Lake Harbor: Contemporary Sculpture of the Michael Family.
