George Pitsiulak was born in 1929 on the land near the settlement of Kimmirut, Nunavut, Canada.
Pitsiulak has exhibited widely including exhibitions at Arctic Artistry, Whitby Arts Incorporated, The Station Gallery, among other prominent galleries. He is included in public collection of Dennos Museum Center, Northwestern Michigan College, Winnipeg Art Gallery, and Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. He is included in the publication “The Sculpture of Kenojuak Ashevak and Joanassie Igiu 1979-1981” by Feheley Fine Arts.
