Men’s Ring with “Om” Script Design

The design is Devanagari script for "Om", the primordial sound at the creation of the universe by God. This Om design is commonly seen in Hindu and Buddhist art and texts. Devanagari script is used in writing Sanskrit and Hindi, originating in India.
In 1975, Canadian artist John Hardy launches a small artisanal jewelry collective in Bali. Combining traditional techniques with modern design, the fledgling John Hardy brand is born.
The first ten years are spent mastering and refining time-honored Indonesian traditions of silver smithing, chain-weaving, granulation and cut work.
In 2002, the first showroom and office opens in New York City, followed by the first flagship store in 2016. In 2025, John Hardy proudly celebrated their 50th anniversary with the launch of their JH 50 Collections.
