Kathy Humpherville Thompson is a Tsimshian First Nation artist who specializes in sewing Native regalia. She has been sewing dance regalia, as well as items worn to official functions, for over thirty years. These items include button dance robes, vests, headbands and dresses.
Kathy is from the prominent Dundas Family of Metlakatla, Alaska. Her roots can be traced all the way back to before the migration to Metlakatla from Canada. Her clan is Killer Whale.
