Inspired by ancient Aztec and Maya glyphs and stamps this Mexican silver necklace by Gerardo Lopez uses figural overlay to create an example of Taxco’s “archeological” style. Eagle, Rabbit, Jaguar, the divine monkey Ozomahtli and Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, are represented.
