Taller Piedras is a collaboration of two great jewelers, William Harris and R. Luis Pantoja.
R. Luis Pantoja, a native of San Miguel de Allende, is a multi-faceted artist. Luis has a natural creative ability, with an incredible sense of color and design, which is evident in his individual pieces.
Bill Harris was born in Mexico, Missouri. He lived in Kansas City, Missouri and was a Gemologist and Sales Manager for Tivol Jewels. He also lived 18 years part-time in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he was associated with the Wheelwright Museum. He has also been an avid collector of Native American Art and Objects.
After Bill moved to San Miguel, now 14 years ago, the magic he works with stones has become quite well-known. His work has been shown extensively in charity events throughout the United States and Mexico.
